Erin Mar-De Wise* -  Secretary 2011-2013

Erin is a performer at heart.  Since the age of 9 she knew that the stage was here home. At Eastern Washington University Erin embraced the world of theatre doing everything from Opera to Musicals which led her to finishing her B.A.E in music.  After EWU Erin went on to pursue acting further on scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC where she got her professional certification in the arts.

Theatre is her passion and bringing it to people of all ages is her goal and ambition.  Since arriving in Seattle Erin has performed at the Freehold series and all over with such companies as Northwest Savoyards, Lyric Opera Northwest, Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan playing the part of Melen in Utopia Limited and  Buttercup in H.M.S Pinafore at the Seattle Repertory Theatre last June, and recently the part of Zora in Ruddigore with the Northwest Savoyards. Erin is also a private acting instructor and has directed in Seattle Once Upon a Mattress, Annie and most recently Guys & Dolls.  Being a part of a theatre company has been her dream and she is so excited to be a part of such a wonderful team of ladies that believe in the importance of Art.

Katie Castro - Auditions Administration 2012-2013

Originally from Montana, Katie studied voice at Eastern Washington University and is now happy to call Seattle home.  An opera singer at heart, she got an early start with music playing the clarinet, but it was on stage where she found her true calling.  After years of performing, she is excited to work behind the scenes with the talented and passionate artists of Rogue Theatrics.
Favorite characters and performances include Tosca (Tosca), Mercedes (Carmen)Violetta (La Traviata)Florinda (Into the Woods), and a masterclass with Thomas Hampson.  Outside of the theater Katie loves cooking Mexican food, traveling with her husband, and taking her dogs to Marymoor Park.

Shawn Main - Director, Dramaturgy 2012-2013

A native of Connecticut, child of Cairo, and graduate of Hampshire College, Shawn spent much of his teenage years and early twenties waist deep in the theatre. In 2011, he moved to Washington to work at Wizards of the Coast as a designer for Magic: the Gathering. In 2012, he played Snout (the Wall) in Rogue Theatrics' A Midsummer Night's Dream and was reunited with his love of theatre.

Prior to Caryl Churchill's Cloud 9, Shawn has directed Bob Meagher's translation of Euripides' Bakkhai, Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth, Richard Foreman's My Head Was a Sledgehammer, Ellen Byron's Graceland, and various original works. Shawn has a great passion for art that questions and expresses, that reinterprets and reimagines, that whispers and that celebrates. And he is thrilled to be a part of such a dedicated and talented group of artists.
